Inside the Aura Workshop at Nissa Retreat
Nissa Retreat at Broughton Hall
What Is an Aura?
At Nissa Retreats, we don’t define auras as something “out there”, we experience them as a reflection of what’s within. An aura is your energetic atmosphere, the emotional and spiritual tone that surrounds you, shifts with you, and sometimes speaks before you do.
Heidi teaches that these subtle fields aren’t reserved for the gifted or the sensitive. They’re natural. Alive. And readable, with the right kind of presence.
Some see auras as soft colors. Others feel them, like a vibration in their hands, a rise in temperature, a sense of pressure or lightness. There’s no one right way. Your perception is your pathway.
What Happens in the Workshop?
We begin in stillness. A gentle grounding practice brings you into your body. Not the performance body, but the quiet, sensing one, the one that feels goosebumps when truth is spoken and tightens in the presence of misalignment.
Then, we turn our attention outward. You’ll partner with another guest, letting your gaze soften around their edges. And something begins to flicker: a blush of pink above the heart. A smoky blue near the throat.
Heidi walks you through it with ease and clarity. No pressure. No judgment. Just curiosity.
You’ll learn to recognize not only what colors appear, but what they might mean.
The Language of Color
Here’s a glimpse into the energetic palette you might witness:
Rose Pink – Unspoken tenderness. A heart that feels deeply but speaks softly.
Pale Yellow – Mental energy and optimism. A thinker, a seeker of clarity.
Emerald Green – Healing in motion. Often seen around those in transition.
Royal Blue – A clear communicator, someone in deep alignment with their truth.
Indigo or Violet – Strong intuition, someone who receives, knowing in silence.
Orange – Creative charge. Movement, momentum, and emotional openness.
Red – Grounded passion. A soul in their body, present and alive.
Gold – Spiritual wisdom, confidence, a sense of purpose that radiates.
White or Opalescent – Purity of intention. A connection to higher guidance.
Grey or Smoky Tones – Not “bad,” but protective. Often seen during grief or transformation, like the hush before a breakthrough.
You’re not taught to memorize these. You’re guided to feel into them, what does that gold mean here, now, with this person?
What It Gives You
The Aura Workshop isn’t about performing some type of party trick. And here, surrounded by 3,000 acres of ancient woodland, flowing streams, and the quiet strength of Broughton Hall, your senses finally have space to breathe.
As you soften into stillness, your awareness sharpens. You begin to notice the subtleties, color, emotion, energy and learn to respond with deeper presence, compassion, and trust. It’s about recognizing that you already read energy, constantly. In the way you sense tension in a room before anyone speaks. In the way you feel someone’s excitement without them saying a word. This workshop helps you hone that natural sensitivity, so you’re not just reacting, you’re responding with clarity, empathy, and insight. Because when you can feel beyond the surface, you connect more deeply, with others, and with yourself.
This workshop helps you name what you feel, see what you sense, and begin to trust it.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how your intuition speaks, through visuals, sensations, or simply presence. You’ll feel more in tune with others, and less likely to mistake someone else’s emotions for your own.
Why It Matters
Because once you learn to read energy, you stop taking everything at face value. You start asking better questions. You start listening with your whole being. And maybe most importantly, you start trusting the soft, invisible knowing that’s always been there.
You walk into rooms differently.
You hear what’s unsaid.
And you begin to trust yourself, not just in stillness, but in motion.
