We’re taught, often from childhood, to prioritize logic, evidence, and external authority over instinct. From school onward, we’re taught to rely on facts, formulas, and standardized answers. Intuition isn’t graded. Critical thinking is, but that often excludes the body’s wisdom or emotional intelligence.
We live in a world that values predictability and proof. Intuition, which is more felt than explained, doesn’t always fit into that. So we second-guess it, even when it’s right.
